I need to identify some other blogs and then I can add them, but I've successfully added several feeds to My Yahoo. It's cool once you know how to find them on websites. Maybe this will reduce my Bookmarks list. I've already referred a couple of people outside the library world to the 23 steps I think it could be usefule for many people. Thanks for making it available.

Day 3 - Step 2

OK I watched the YouTube video and read some of the articles. I also watched the YouTube video The Machine is Us/ing Us. That was interesting and well done. I have been in libraries for over 17 years. I remember when we started offering internet access at the library and all the problems that ensued. The role of libraries in today's world is radically changing everyday. This is nothing new. It's one of the most interesting parts of working in libraries, how we are constantly changing to fill the need. I'm always ready to learn new things. I'm excited to get on board with all this 2.0 stuff.

Day 2 - Step 1

So. I'm trying to do the 23 things on a stick program through MLA. I missed round 1 and 2 because I am newly hired at my library. I have completed step one I believe. I created this blog and created and Avatar and successfully exported it to this blog. (That was more difficult than it should have been). You can see by my Avatar that I play guitar and have miscellaneous pets (currently one gray tabby cat and two dogs - a golden retriever and a Shit-zu). I also enjoy the outdoors and am a "hippy" at heart.

Later

The Beginning

OK.
